Defeat the Debt

Defeat the Debt

Defeat the Debt Website

DETAILS: Original concept and design for the website and identity of DefeatTheDebt.com, a project of the Employment Policies Institute. Defeat The Debt is dedicated to educating Americans about the size, scope, and consequences of the rapidly escalating debt. The multi-million dollar ad campaign highlights the threat posed by unsustainable borrowing and spending by the government. Along with ads in New York’s Times Square, Washington, DC’s Metro Stations, The Wall Street Journal, and commercials running on CNN, Fox News, and CNBC, 17 destitute Uncle Sams were strategically placed throughout Washington, DC, Chicago, and New York to beg for $12 trillion from taxpayers.

HONORS: Defeat the Debt’s Washington, DC Metro Station Domination was accepted into GD USA’s American Inhouse Design Awards Issue, July/August 2010
