Brrr, I just got back from another Defeat the Debt stunt where we had destitute Uncle Sams stationed around the city of Chicago. The stunt was to further promote Defeat the Debt’s message of making commuters and tourists aware the $12 trillion national debt.
My task for the day was to go around the Windy City and take pictures of the stunt:








Once again, Defeat the Debt stationed destitute Uncle Sams to ask commuters and tourists for help repaying the $12 trillion national debt. This time we are in New York City where it rained all morning. Good thing I brought my wellies.

For the website launch of DefeatTheDebt.com, 17 destitute Uncle Sams were stationed around Washington, DC to ask commuters and tourists for help repaying the $12 trillion national debt. Here are some of the photos I took of the stunt:
